2007 SUMMER CAMP
CHESTNUT RIDGE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Don't miss this opportunity to have fun and improve your skills whether rating this year - or never again!! The 2007 camp will be a great time, a good workout and very beneficial to your development as a rider.

Why camp?

It is a great opportunity to work on you. Learn skills that will
improve your ride on any horse, not just your current mount. Unlike a weekend clinic where you can identify a problem and learn a technique to fix it, you will have the time to practice the new skill and develop the correct muscle memory under the clinician's guidance. Besides, you don't want to miss the GOURMET FOOD and the LUXURIOUS ACCOMODATIONS!

There will be two tracks- dressage and traditional, and will allow for even more individual attention and also time for unmounted sessions. The first session will be Monday morning, June 18 and the last session will be Thursday afternoon. Instead of an afternoon off, we will be having unmounted instruction on Wednesday afternoon.

This year camp is open to all Tri-State C2, C3, B, HA, and A members. Again, campers may bring a second horse but must pay an additional fee of $50. The number of campers is limited to 20. Date of postmark will determine placement if too many applications are received.

Insider Tip
When the ground gets hard and dry this summer, try packing your horse's hoofs with hoof packing 2 - 3 times per week. The hoof packing will make their hoofs more pliable and will help draw out any soreness.
